Are you looking for a way to start or enhance your municipal career? Working with the Auxiliary Clerical Team is a great place to begin! This is on-call clerical/administrative relief work at the City Hall and Works Yard Offices. Solid general office and higher-level administration skills are required for various positions ranging from reception/front counter work to additional more complex administrative assistant duties and project work. Some assignments require specialized skills in Finance/Accounting.

The position requires a minimum typing speed of 45 wpm with intermediate MS Word and Excel spreadsheet skills. The ability to pick up tasks and computer systems quickly and work in different departments is an asset. Must be an experienced Administrative Assistant responsible for a variety of office support tasks. Must have strong teamwork skills and customer service skills. Experience with SAP or other ERP system is a strong asset. Being available on short notice is also a plus. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills in a variety of settings and departments. Staff in the Auxiliary Clerical Team must be available to work between 8:00am - 4:45pm, Monday to Friday and up to 8:00pm on Thursdays.
